Some people like their wine chilled. Others prefer a couple of ice cubes.

And somewhere in France, a sommelier has just fainted. 🇫🇷😂

Wine purists call it sacrilege. Ice lovers call it refreshing.

The problem? As the ice melts, it dilutes the wine's flavours, aromas and possibly the winemaker's will to live.

At The Tasting Guys, we've seen plenty of interesting wine preferences at our wine tasting Sydney events. And while we love sharing the finer points of wine tasting, we're also firm believers that wine should be enjoyed, not governed by a rulebook.

After all, if you've paid for the wine, shouldn't you be able to enjoy it however you like?
